"I purchased this backpack for my 15-year-old with high expectations given Herschel’s reputation, but both of us were disappointed. The overall look and finish feel quite average, and the size is smaller than expected. For the price, it doesn’t offer the quality or value we anticipated. Unfortunately, I’m left wishing I had returned it, as there are far better options available in the market."

"i bought this backpack (30 liter) as a JOKE. i thought what a dumb fashion statement fad. why don't i join in too? completely stunned at the quality. i use this thing all day and night going to the gym and work on the nyc subway and also grocery shopping. it stands upright on its own, EVERY SINGLE TIME! no falling over (this really annoys me) or having to lean against an object. the stitching is really well done. as i said, i abuse it without abusing it and it holds up. no tears, it can also be washed in the laundry machine which i do every 2 months. the 30 liter size means that it holds all my shower gear for after working out and can lug 6 containers of 1. 5 quart ice creams (i buy this from whole foods in nyc). superb space and incredibly rugged."
