Backpack

"My old backpack got ruined so I reached customer service to help me with my issue, they didn’t have my old backpack so they gave me a gift card so I purchased this one. Compared to the old backpack this one looks cheaply made, it’s good quality, but don’t look better than the one I had. The material was very different than this one just disappointed for the quality and for the price I paid the backpack shows $130 worth but I think you don’t worth more than $50."

Great Bag, lousy straps

"Straps are not fully adjustable, much to large/long for a shorter/ averaged sized adult."

Gets dirty easily

"The bag is pretty but not practical. I have had it for a few months and it is so dirty. Gets dirty very easily. I regret purchasing."

Perfect day pack

"I have the ivory bag and recently used it as a personal item and day pack to Germany from the U. S. While it felt a little small as my personal item, it was perfect as my daily carry. I always had my raincoat, scarf, water, umbrella, book, plus snacks or things I bought in it. I like the covered laptop compartment, the zippered front pocket, and the light colored interior. What I didn’t like was how the adjustable straps would lengthen when it was fuller or I wore it awhile. There’s no built in way to keep straps from sliding. I like that it’s a streamlined look but I wish that strap issue didn’t exist. The ivory does has a scuff that I can’t get out, otherwise it looks very clean. Overall it’s a really nice bag and I would use it again for a similar trip."

Would buy it over and over again!

"I was undecided between this, a diesel or BEIS backpack (all similar design) and I am soooooo happy I went with this one! It’s very stylish, good quality, I was soaked in the rain and no water went through, and I was worried cause I had important papers and my laptop inside. So def recommend it!!!"

Horrible strap design

"I have been a loyal Herschel backpack user for the past six years and have owned three different models. Unfortunately, this is the first one that feels truly uncomfortable to wear. The shoulder strap design is horrible. First, the material of the straps is far too smooth, which causes the buckles to slide when carrying heavier items, such as a 16-inch laptop. The straps gradually lengthen on their own, and I constantly have to readjust them throughout the day. Second, the adjustability of the strap length is very limited. I am 5'3'', and even when I shorten the straps as much as possible, they are still too long for me. None of the previous Herschel backpacks I’ve owned had this issue. Comfort is the most important factor for a backpack, and this one sadly falls short. Herschel, please revisit the strap material and adjustability in future models."
