Reviews

This bag is attractive but the quality seems to be inferior to previous purchases I made with Herschel. No interior lining. Not as many pockets and generally a cheaper quality. I ove the style and cor just think it will vot hold up very long. I used other Herschel bags for probably 5 years

"Cheap quality compared with other Herschel bags I bought over 3 years ago."

Strength and style

"I am absolutely loving my new Hershel backpack. It is perfect for commuting back and forth to work. I also enjoyed it during my travel time to Vancouver and Whistler. It came in very handy. The weatherproof material is a must!"

Obsessed

"Only here to leave a review (which I never do), because I’m obsessed with mine. I’ve had mine almost a year and never had an issue with it staying closed. If you try to stuff it totally full the button may pop, but maybe consider a suitcase if this is the volume need of an everyday backpack. Buying in a second color. I love!"

Love Mine!!

"I was torn between the Ivy Green and Grid Black and decided on Ivy Green. I LOVE how spacious it is, and if I need just that little more space, I adjust the buckle. The side pockets are godsend especially when I need to whip my umbrella out (weather resistant indeed) or have a quick drink from exhausting walks without having to hoist it over and dig around. City's height is also just right for me as I need to access my stuff easily (they'd get lost in a black hole of Survey for sure) and to make it perfect I popped a bag organiser in it. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE MORE WEATHER RESISTANT COLOURS (hint: my favourite prints so far from Herschel were Plaid, nature themed - flowers and birds and Sea/Deep Green). The one improvement I hope to see is wider and padded handle, as sometimes I gotta bring my bag down and hold it in a packed train."

HORRIBLE closing design

"I usually never write reviews, but this bag deserves one. I was looking for a nice backpack to use for school and work and that was water resistant. I thought that the City Backpack Weather Resistant was perfect for what I was looking, and it had a good size. However, when I got it it was way too big for what I wanted, and what's worse is the magnet for closing is not stron AT ALL, the bag opens all the time and things fall out. I haven't been able to use the backpack because I'am scared of loosing my things."

the things you carry remain exposed

"I really loved this backpack, bough in yellow. I wanted it big as I always curry things with me and unfortunately the bag stays open. The button just keeps opening up no matter what"

It sucks

"This backpack doesn’t stay closed at all"

Exactly what I wanted

"Perfect size, super cute, and definitley weather resistant"

1 star because I can't give 0.

"Extremely disappointed at Herschel for releasing a product with such design flaw. The bag won't stay locked, the buckle is useless. I've decided switching bags for work and on the first try of getting my stuff inside, the bag would stay open at all times. You adjust the buckle, lock it, and as you put it in your back, it's open again. Good luck trying to keep your items safe inside. Major waste of money."
